Scope of works
The refurbishment of a Flintshire footbridge that is suitable for pedestrians and cyclists.
Saltney Ferry Foot Bridge in Flintshire is a four span reinforced concrete structure with reinforced concrete abutments and piers constructed in circa 1968. The bridge is approximately 100m and the width of the bridge is 2.14m.
The bridge spans over the river dee which has been designated a Site of Special Scignificant Scientific Interest SSSI) and a Special Area of Conservation (SAC).
