Wind Farm Contractors UK
Since the early 90's, Jennings have been heavily involved in the construction of wind energy schemes throughout the UK acting as Principle Contractor or Supply Chain Partner. Our first experience of wind farm construction was in 1992 on Llandinam Wind Farm in Mid Wales which at the time was the largest wind farm in Europe. Since then, our involvement has progressed to the role of Principle Contractor on schemes up to 25 Mega Watts from the West of Scotland to South Wales. Over the last 17 years, we have gained priceless experience in all aspects of wind farm construction including the production of graded fills for high quality access roads and crane pads, HV infrastructure and grid connections, the construction of reinforced concrete bases in extreme weather conditions and large HV sub-stations, all constructed with minimal disturbance to the environment.
To complement our technical and practical ability is our own fleet of modern plant which means all resources required to successfully complete schemes of this nature are under our own control. Our belief is that we can deliver large Wind Energy projects as competitively and professionally as any other contractor in the UKOur Experience
